This course builds on the concepts introduced in the EDGE : The Agitated Patient and builds understanding of how to identify/exclude medical disease in the severely agitated patient, takes account of the legal considerations that need to be considered before physically or pharmacologically restraining a patient and explores the currently recommended sedative agents with the aim of ensuring the clinician is well prepared for the use of these agents in their clinical practice

• CPD accreditation: ACRRM (30 PRPD Points), RACGP, (40 Cat 1 CPD points)
