This course builds on the basic skills introduced in the EDGE : Managing Acute Pain and focuses on developing a deeper understanding of the agents that may be used to relieve pain, identification of conditions where targeted treatment may relieve the cause of the pain and taking a more detailed look at the pathophysiology of pain.
