The CRASH workshop was developed by a team of emergency physicians, rural GPs, nurse and paramedic educators.
The program provides 24 hours of training incorporating on line (e-learning) and a 2 day practical skills workshop. Topics include : Resuscitation of the critically ill / injured patient, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Basic and advanced airway management, Ventilation using an Oxylog Ventilator, Resuscitation team leadership and teamwork, Difficult vascular access, Cervical spine management in trauma, Chest tube insertion, Needle aspiration, Cardiac pacing / Cardioversion, Newborn resuscitation.
