The Advanced Emergency Ultrasound course is delivered using a combination of online learning of core material with a hands-on skills/simulation workshop.
The course covers the following key areas

Set up of the machine, optimising images and selection and placement of probes

Ultrasound in trauma to identify intraperitoneal bleeding, pericardial fluid, haemo/pneumothorax (FAST/eFAST exam)
