Information collected

When a user registers to the LearnEM website, the following information is collected

  • Location of practice – rural/urban, city/town, state, country

This information is held securely on a database and is not passed on to any person or party unrelated to the management of the site. The information is accessible to the managers of the LearnEM website.

LearnEM uses the information provided by users to provide user authentication (username and password) and obtain demographic information to assist in ensuring the website provides for the needs of users.

Users are reminded that they are bound by medical privacy standards when using interactive components on the site such as discussion boards.
