The Bedside Emergency Ultrasound course is delivered using a combination of online learning of core material with a hands-on skills/simulation workshop.

The course covers the following key areas

• Core Principles of Ultrasound Imaging

• Set up of the machine, optimising images and the selection and placement of probes

• Ultrasound of the abdominal aorta

• Ultrasound in trauma and the FAST/eFAST exam

• Focused Echocardiography in Life Support - FELS

• Renal / Gallbladder Ultrasound

• Introduction to Doppler Ultrasound
