EDGE24 Module 5 : ECG Interpretation (2) Myocardial Ischaemia
Latest Course Update: January 2024
The ECG plays a central role in the evaluation of the patient with acute chest pain. The ST/T wave component of the ECG waveform reflects repolarisation of the ventricle. Abnormalities of the ST segment commonly result from abnormal depolarisation of the ventricle and injury or inflammation of myocardial tissue due to myocardial ischaemia or acute pericarditis.
In this module we focus on the patterns of ECG changes associated with myocardial ischaemia arguably one of the most interesting and challenging areas of ECG Interpretation !
Accreditation
A "Course Certificate" for 36 CPD hours can be requested upon completion of all 24 modules. The course is CPD accredited for the 2023-2025 triennium with ACRRM (Course Code : 28766) and RACGP (Course Code : 403496: 24.5 Educational Activity and 11.5 Reviewing Performance Hours).
